Donate to a specific campaign or to our general fund. We are engaged in a new model of education, a new model of learning to help raise children who care about their world and every living thing in it. This will require significant resources to train staff, provide the necessary resources, and create the physical space where artistic, agricultural, and environmental education can flourish. Please donate today.
Expeditionary Learning Campaign
Expeditionary Learning (EL) is a national professional development nonprofit that will take CHCS to the next level and provide the type of learning that will make artistic, agricultural, and environmental pedagogy come alive on a consistent basis. The cost of the professional development was a total of $15,000 for phase 1 and $40,000 for phase 2. We completed phase 1 in January and are now in phase 2 of our partnership with EL.
In the first two years of partnership EL will provide the following for teachers and leaders as part of a whole school process to create high quality, rigorous, and purposeful work that matters to the world.
26 days of direct professional development
Attendance and participation at National Conference
3-day institutes with other EL schools
5-day summer institutes with other EL schools
Site seminars at a participating EL school
We have already received a lead gift of $10,000 and are looking to raise the remaining $30,000 for phase 2 of our EL development by the end of May. Donations can be made here:
The Lovett Campaign
We have now received $139,756 in gifts from board members, community members, businesses, and parents! Thank you! We are closing in on our fundraising goal of $150,000 however, we need your help as we raise the final $10,244. The addition of the Lovett building to the campus provides an environmentally friendly, solar-powered building which will house eight classrooms, two science labs, a large multipurpose space, and offices. Your gift moves us closer to the reality of outfitting these classrooms and elevating the learning experience for our scholars. The building opened this past December.
"Parents Support CHCS" Campaign
CHCS has officially kicked off our annual "Parents Support CHCS" Campaign! We are asking all parents to contribute $200 per child, per school year! That's about a dollar a day for each child. Your support to Chatt Hills Charter School will assist in enhancing our school programming, course offerings, extended learning opportunities, and classroom resources. If you can afford to, please help by covering the dollar a day for a child or two who cannot afford it by submitting an extra $200 or $400. With deep gratitude, we thank you!
-1 Child- $200.00
