News From the School, 10/21

Greetings OWL Family, 

THANK YOU to all of the families who attended our Competency-Based Grading Meetings last week! It was great to hear the feedback from parents, so that we can continuously improve our practices as a school. We will send an official recap of the meetings and takeaways early in the week. 

Please note that we have adjusted our school calendar due to Election Day. November 6, 2018 is now a Teacher Work Day (no students report), while March 8 has been changed from a Teacher/Student Holiday to a regular school day. Please adjust plans accordingly. 

Teacher Remind Codes
Please download the Teacher Remind Codes document, so that you can stay abreast of what is happening in your child's classroom. Teachers will send updates via Remind to keep families updated.

FALL FUNDRAISER

Please support our Fall Fundraiser. All profits will benefit our Athletic Department and School Fieldtrips. Please download the order form! Top Seller will receive an ASUS Chrome Book!!

PIC-A-TREAT EVENT
Please join us on Friday, October 26  from 5pm-7pm for our Pic-A-Treat Event! We will have events, treats, food, and much more! This will be a great event to bring the family! Be sure to wear your costumes!! Flyers were sent home with all scholars.

MySchool Bucks Update
Please remember to have your MySchoolBucks account set up and running for online payments. Be sure to sign up for balance notifications to receive on your phone/email when your child's account gets close to a negative balance. If you still do not have your login information to setup your child's account, or if your account is showing an inaccurate balance or pay status (Full price, reduced, free), please contact Ms. Porter (stephanie.porter@chatthillscharter.org), so that we can correct this.
